Plan implementation is easy...

The employer decides on the plan provisions, effective date, waiting period for new employees, etc.  They will then have a board meeting to adopt the plan (not necessary if a sole proprietorship or a partnership).  The employer will then execute the plan documents and provide the administrator with employee data and information.

Group meetings are conducted using BCI's staff and communication materials, to familiarize the employees with the flexible benefit concept.  We conduct confidential, individual enrollments with each employee, at the employer's convenience, to discuss how to use the plan wisely in their unique life circumstances.

Introductory literature, then group meetings followed by individual enrollments, provide each employee with detailed information about how the plan operates, and stresses the plan benefits to each employee.

Once the initial enrollment is complete, BCI reports the results to the employer and coordinates the payroll deduction process.  Claims are processed on a regular basis and claim checks are written on a monthly or semi-monthly basis at the option of the employer.  Statements summarizing contributions and claims activity are provided to the employees and the employer as a reminder to use the funds and avoid forfeiture.
